From the North West: Take the M61, at Junction 6 turn left onto the A6027. At the second roundabout (Beehive pub) turn right on the A673. At the first lights turn left (Ring Road A58) signposted Burnley A676 (A56). Stay on the Ring Road across 1 roundabout and 3 further sets of traffic lights. Turn left on to the A676 signposted Burnley (A56). The School is 700 yards on the left, reception is at the top right hand side of the car park.

From the South: Follow the motorway network taking the M62/M60/M61 signposted to Bolton. Take the A666, signposted Bolton. Follow the signs for Burnley, this will be signposted A56 or A676(A56). After passing the Bolton Castle public house and the Shell garage at the Ring Road traffic lights, the school is about 700 yards on the left,  reception is at the top right hand side of the car park.

Take J =5, the A5103, to Manchester City Centre. *** (See below).

From the Anti-clockwise direction (Leeds): Take J7/8 and follow the A56 to Manchester City Centre/Stretford, through one roundabout and a set of pedestrian lights to the next traffic lights.  Turn right and follow the A5145 to Chorlton. After ¾ mile, take the left fork at the lights, A6010 to Chorlton. Continue straight on for about 1½ miles, through several sets of lights, until you come to the traffic lights with the Hindu Temple on the left.  Go through these lights, and the next lights, and turn right into the Centre (Whalley Range High School) at the next pedestrian lights.

From the South/West: Aim for the M56 Northbound, and look for J3 where the road becomes the A5103 and follow the signs to Manchester City Centre. *** (See below).

***Travel for about 3 miles on the dual carriageway, passing the Hough End playing fields (large board indicates this) on the left.  Go through the next set of lights, over the brow to the next lights and turn left into Wilbraham Rd.  The Centre is about 100 metres on the left.

(Ball Hall): From the M6 leave at Junction 19 and follow A556 to M56. Follow signs for Stockport on to M60 travelling East. Stay on M60 until you pass underneath the railway viaduct. Take the next exit. At the bottom of the slip road turn Left.

*At 300yards up hill take 4th exit off roundabout in to Sandy Lane (B6167).

** Sandy Lane becomes Reddish Road after 300-400 yards. Keep straight on for about half a mile, pass a speed camera on your right, and turn right at next traffic lights, in to Vale Road. Reddish Vale School Technology College is on your left beyond the row of houses, Enter the school at the last gateway just before the road starts to dip. From the car park follow road marked ‘For emergency vehicles only’ to the right hand rear of the school.

Should you travel north up the M1 and cross through Derbyshire. From Chesterfield the A619 to A623 to A6. Stay on A6 into Stockport. You pass Stockport College on your left, through traffic lights, and the road starts to go down hill. Town Hall is on your right, and a little lower down McDonald’s is on your left. Go to the bottom of the hill and up the road ahead. About 300yards go through lights getting in right hand lane, and another 250 yards turn right at next lights into Belmont Way. At the end of Belmont Way take 2nd exit off roundabout in to Sandy Lane (B6167). Now follow directions from ** above.

From the North pick up the M60 clockwise going south. Leave at J26. (J26 follows J25 very quickly, so make sure you are on nearside lane.) This takes you through a set of traffic lights crossing the on going slip road. Straight ahead for 500yards into more lights leading to a large round about. Stay on right into lights and follow lane for Manchester round the roundabout, go under the motorway and leave at only exit ahead. Follow directions above from *

(Lapwing Centre): Leave the M60 at Junction 25: -

(Travelling from West to East): The slip road takes you over the motorway onto a large roundabout. Ignore the first exit and take the second up a slight incline to a second roundabout. The first left is a no entry being the exit point from the motorway if you are travelling from east to west. . . . From this point directions from east and west are the same.

Leave the roundabout at the next exit, go under the railway bridge and on to traffic lights at 250 yards. Turn left into Lingard Lane, under railway and over motorway and take the next right after bollards into Middlesex Road. Along Middlesex Road to roundabout, Take second exit and cross railway, at T junction turn right into Lapwing Lane. The centre is at the end on the right.
